Swedish Eurovision Cocktail Recipe
Whether its to celebrate Eurovision or you’re throwing an ABBA party. This Swedish cocktail recipe is a great way to have a little bit of fun.
It also happens to be garnished with a big old handful of Liquorice allsorts so you even get a snack with this cocktail.
How to make a cocktail Swedish
There’s a few ways to make a cocktail fit the theme of a country.
You could make it look like the country. Check out this Ukraine cocktail for an example of just that. It’s colours match the Ukraine flag, blue and yellow.
You could also garnish the cocktail with something that would suit a country. Like this Eurovision cocktail that represents the UK garnished with English strawberries and mint.
The last option is to use ingredients and flavours that represent that country. Which is actually what we’re doing with this cocktail made easy by Flävar - A Swedish Schnapps brand infused with Swedish flavours.

Raspberry and Liquorice Flävar
But more about that Swedish Schnapps Flävar.
Each of these Eurovision cocktails will use one of the 5 flavours of Flävar. This one will use Raspberry and Liquorice which is one of my favourites.
I actually really dislike liquorice but what Flävar has done with it is incredible. Makes me really like the stuff!
I also used this is my French Flag shot recipe which is perfect for Eurovision. So if you’re picking up a bottle, check out that recipe as well.

Ingredients
Instructions
- Shake all ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
- Garnish with liquorice sweets.
Notes
Top tip
When you add the lingonberry jam to your shaker, stir it around to break up the jam. This will make it easier for the jam to infuse into the cocktail, otherwise it tends to stick to the bottom of the shaker.
